Ioana FLOREA, Cosmin SOARE-FILATOV and Simina RUSĂNESCU, three of the Managing Associates of SCA Leaua Damcali Deaconu Păunescu – LDDP, with more than 10 years of experience in the firm, were promoted as of September 1, 2022, joining the 8 partners of the law firm.
Also from September 1, 2022, the following lawyers were promoted: RALUCA POPA to the position of Managing Associate and Steliana BUȘU and Radu Dragoș PIGUI to that of Senior Associate.

Ioana FLOREA, Partner, has extensive professional experience, being specialized in providing assistance and legal representation, as well as consultancy in the field of insolvency and contracts concluded on the basis of public procurement procedures. Ioana also has extensive experience in representing and providing legal assistance in various civil law disputes, between professionals, public authorities and other legal subjects, between individuals, as well as in labor law and administrative disputes. She participates in the coordination teams of some major projects regarding the management of a significant number of disputes deriving from collective labor contracts, as well as from the insolvency procedure.
Cosmin SOARE-FILATOV, Partner, has solid professional experience, managing complex litigation before national courts. Professionally and dedicatedly represents Romanian and foreign clients, individuals, legal entities and public authorities in administrative litigation, insurance law, energy and natural resources law, insolvency, reorganization and bankruptcy procedures. In his work, within the LDDP team, Cosmin combines in a balanced manner solid legal knowledge from his areas of activity, experience from previous projects and creativity in order to identify the most suitable and effective solutions.
Simina RUSĂNESCU, Partner, is specialized in providing legal assistance and representation in corporate law litigation, public procurement, administrative litigation, civil law. Simina also has extensive experience in providing legal assistance and representation in insolvency proceedings. She has assisted and successfully represented clients in insolvency proceedings in order to recover their claims against insolvent debtors, ensuring the exercise of their specific rights in insolvency proceedings. At the same time, she is involved both in important disputes before national courts and in negotiation procedures regarding the conclusion of complex transactions.
Raluca POPA, Managing Associate, is a lawyer with over 15 years of professional experience, specialized in business law, real estate law and international arbitration. Raluca is involved in numerous large-scale mergers and acquisitions projects that required complex due diligence analyzes, but also in various real estate projects, including aspects related to environmental law. Raluca also has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, particularly in investment cases before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington, but also in investment arbitration cases under the UNCITRAL rules.
Steliana BUȘU, Senior Associate, has a solid professional experience in the field of international commercial arbitration and in the management of disputes, in particular civil law and commercial law disputes. Steliana is involved in international commercial arbitration cases conducted before the Court of International Commercial Arbitration in Paris.
Radu Dragoș PIGUI, Senior Associate, has a rich professional experience in providing assistance and representation in projects in the fields of tax, insolvency, commercial and public procurement law.
